Itô was a trainee journalist when she was drugged and raped by a powerful political journalist. Failed by the police and an archaic judiciary, she decides to undertake her own investigation. Based on her bestselling journal, and the video diary that chronicled her gruelling battle for justice, this is a powerful and unique document that breaks the taboo over rape in Japan.
