Please join us for a panel discussion with translators and writers Sawad Hussain and Ayesha Manazir Siddiqi, contributors to the recently published book Violent Phenomena: 21 Essays on Translation, an anthology edited by Kavita Bhanot and Jeremy Tiang, published by Tilted Axis Press. There will be refreshments and copies of Violent Phenomena will be available for purchase with discounts for students.

The discussion will be chaired by Lucelle Pardoe, a PhD candidate in translation studies. This event is a collaboration between CenTras and the BA Language and Culture program and was initiated by Ann Nguyen, a second-year BALC student.
