This dual book launch event invites you to engage with a spectrum of voices celebrating the resilience of individuals who stand against oppression and advocate for a brighter future. Through poetry and prose, Kalyani Charal and Anjali Kajal illuminate the complexities of hope, resistance, and the shared human experience.

We will discuss the process of translating, writing, and publishing the collections and the importance of Dalit literature today. As well as how these two exceptional works delve into the heart of hope, resistance, and the contemporary Dalit experience in India.
