12:00 -13:30 Our publisher Kristen Alfaro will be speaking at this year’s PEN International Translation Day in London. She will be on a panel of small and big publishers to discuss all things translation, chaired by Preti Taneja. This event will be online and in-person.

17:30-19:00 Catch Tilted Axis contributors Khairani Barokka, Kavita Bhanot and Tiffany Tsao online and in-person at the 2023 PEN International Translation Day! They will be joined by Sarah Braybrooke, Rebecca Hart, Laurence Laluyaux to explore pressing issues for translators, translation, and translated literature. This event will be chaired by Daniel Hahn

Information on ticket:

All-day in-person passes are £20 and include light lunch, refreshments between sessions, and a drinks reception from 7pm BST. All-day online tickets are £12. Session-specific tickets are £6 for in-person attendees and £4 for online attendees.
